PEP39 Calculate Average Rates

Calculate Average Rates 7, 8, 9 as Daily or Weekly Rates 15 A

The Daily and Weekly Rates will be calculated for Average Rates 7, 8, 9 during Calculate Average Rates process.

The intention of these Average Daily and Weekly Rates is to pay leave that have been accrued and paid by Days or Weeks.

Prerequisite is PREVAR setting *PP_LEAVE_UNITS = Y (NZ only).

Not A   The Hourly Rates will be calculated.
Working Days Hours Type Code 16 - 17 Blank Working Days are not entered or generated.
Valid Hours Type Code  

This is set to Hours Type Code which will store the Working Days used to calculate Daily Average Rate.

Prerequisite is PEP39 Position 15 = A.

Rate Unit for Average Rate 7 18 W

The Rate Unit for Average Rate 7 is set to Weekly.

This must be set to W if the PEP39 Position 15 = A.

Not W   The Rate Unit for Average Rate 7 is Hourly.
Rate Unit for Average Rate 8 19 W

The Rate Unit for Average Rate 8 is set to Weekly.

This must be set to W if the PEP39 Position 15 = A.

Not W   The Rate Unit for Average Rate 8 is Hourly.
Rate Unit for Average Rate 9 20 D

The Rate Unit for Average Rate 9 is set to Daily.

This must be set to D if PEP39 Position 15 =A

Not D   The Rate Unit for Average Rate 9 is Hourly.
Printing of Working Days in Time Card Print 30 Blank

This controls the printing of Working Days transactions in the Time Card Print Report.

Leaving this Blank, the system will include the Working Days transactions in the Time Card Print Report.

N   The system will not print the Working Days in the Time Card Print.
Printing of Working Days Report   31 Blank

The system will print the Working Days report.

Note that this report is not yet available.

Prerequisite is Hours Type Code in PEP39 Positions 16-17.

N   The system will not print the Working Days report.

 

NOTE:

  • Positions 15, 18, 19, and 20 are pre-set in Preceda databases that have *PP_LEAVE_UNITS = Y and can only be maintained by the Support Team. For inquiries or assistance, please contact Support.
  • The configurations should not change even if NZ clients are not currently using Weekly and Daily rates now as they may do so in the future or future Legislation may require them.
